Yankees Get me a Job

I will never get a permanent job in a 100 years.  It seems that is the reality.  Look at this job below.  If you have 5 to 7 years experience, why would you be trolling Craigslist or emails.  They are just trying to steal other companies' workers.  The Yankees, Bronx Bombers, are winning, but I am losing bad in the real world.

our creative marketing team is currently seeking a managing editor who will be responsible for all copy development, in keeping with the brand voice, across all media to drive traffic and sales to our retail stores and website. partnering with the design and creative marketing departments, the copywriter will develop and execute creative concepts for the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • write, proofread, and edit all copy for direct mail pieces and collateral materials, advertorials, sales presentations, advertising proposals, invitations, seasonal promotions, and email campaigns
  • work and brainstorm with creative marketing and design teams to create new materials and ideas for copy while maintaining the kate spade voice
  • work cross functionally to develop ideas and new initiatives from concept to execution
  • maintain integrity of project schedules
  • suggest new ways to promote product categories
Qualifications:
  • excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • excellent communication, organization and time-management skills
  • autonomous work ethic
  • ability to think creatively under tight deadlines
  • college degree required
  • minimum 5 years of experience as copywriter/editor
  • thorough understanding of the kate spade brand and aesthetic
